My Client wanted a French antique button that had stars or the sun on it.  When I showed her this button, she said "yes, that's perfect!".

This button was commission by the French Government to be issued to all Air Medical Support personnel during WW1.  These buttons were worn on the woollen coats of such military men and women.  When I'm working with such amazing piece of history, I often wonder who the button belonged to?   This button needed a lot of work to restore it to what I can only imagine was it's original condition.  100 + years had not been kind to it, but I think you'll agree that it certainly shines now.

Set in an intricate, solid sterling silver setting, with a full swivel clasp which means it can be attached to my clients existing chains and bracelets.
