You should have seen the condition I found this in, when I first laid eyes on it in a local Brocante store. Honestly, I took a real gamble when I decided to take it home with me.
I'm kicking myself that I didn't take before photos, because it was a mess. It took all of my rejuvenation skills to bring this French Antique Napkin Ring back to life.
So, in saying that, there are signs of it's former life. The silver plating is not a thick in some parts, so the brass underneath is starting to come through, which if you love unique, old things, then this is perfect for you.
The open pierced pattern makes this cuff quite interesting. Being as it's made in brass, it is quite easy to open it wider or close it up as necessary, so it will be suitable for a variety of wrist sizes.
How unique to be wearing a cuff that was once something used in French history to hold starched, white linen napkins!
Take a look at the pictures to get an idea of the total width & then grab it before someone else does.
