Imagine how many times this tag has been touched? Don’t worry, it’s been thoroughly disinfected, cleaned and polished, but you can still see some really tiny marks in the white enamel that show just how often it was used during it’s life as a LV handbag zipper tag. I got this tag from my contact, the Parisian gentleman who attends the famous French designer auctions in Paris. He told me the handbag had certainly seen better days and all he could salvage from it was the hardware.
This tag is from the late 1980’s and was the main opening zipper tag on a white and silver LV tote bag. The tag is double sided, so instead of covering one side of the tag with the silver setting, I’ve made a reverse setting, so that the pendant is now double sided. I guess this doesn’t really have much of a function, other than being an interesting design feature.
I love the shape, don’t you? I think it sits really nicely and is a little bigger, without being really bulky.
Being silver and white enamel, I think it would look great with a silver or white gold chain. If you were looking for something a bit different, I could also see this working with a colourful beaded necklace. The opening of the bail is reasonably large, so it can allow for smaller beads to pass through it with ease.
Of course the setting is completely hand crafted by me, in solid sterling silver.
I’m sure you’ll receive multiple compliments when you’re wearing this, as it’s not your everyday LV pendant.

Important Information
Please note, all buttons used in my creations are antique, vintage, or second hand, and will naturally show signs of their previous lives. Such as gentle surface marks, tiny dents, enamel wear, or soft tarnishing.
Each button is carefully tested and securely set, but as these treasures can be well over a century old, they remain delicate and should be treated with the same care as any fine antique.
While the jewellery itself is professionally handcrafted from solid precious metals using traditional goldsmith techniques, designed to last a lifetime, the historic buttons, pearls, and crystals within these designs are inherently more fragile. Their age and patina are what make them so special.
To preserve your piece, please avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, perfume, or impact. Treat it gently, and it will bring you many years of beauty and admiration.
As each piece is entirely handmade and one of a kind, I’m unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or replacements for changes of mind, or for age related wear such as button cracking, crystal or pearl loss, or plating lift that may occur over time.
If you ever have concerns about caring for your jewellery, please don’t hesitate to contact me for personalised advice.

I take great care to ensure all branded buttons are genuine and sourced from reputable second hand suppliers & fashion historians.
