Handcrafted in solid sterling silver in my French jewellery workshop, these one-of-a-kind earrings are a love letter to vintage Parisian elegance. At their centre are rare Chanel buttons from the early 1970s, each one once adorning a striking black mini Chanel flared dress, a piece that perfectly captured the spirit of the era’s bold, youthful fashion.
The woman who wore that dress was the kind who turned heads without trying. She might have strolled the banks of the Seine with a novel in her bag or danced until dawn in a smoky jazz club in Montmartre. Elegant, independent, and unmistakably Parisian, she wore her beauty like a secret and her fashion like second skin. These buttons, now transformed, have lived through stories only they could tell, whispers of love, laughter, and late-night conversations over candlelight.
Now, they begin a new chapter.
As a professional goldsmith, I’ve used traditional techniques passed down through generations to craft these earrings with precision and care. The sterling silver settings are shaped and finished by hand, allowing the buttons to shine as the timeless treasures they are.
Look closely and you’ll see the glint of fine crystals nestled beside jet-black cabochons, their luster like polished onyx. At the base of each button, a discreet yet iconic Chanel logo peeks out, a subtle nod to its haute couture heritage, quietly proud, never ostentatious. There’s just enough gold toned metal in the button to go well with all your gold toned jewellery too.
Whether paired with a little black dress for an evening out or worn casually with a crisp white shirt and vintage jeans, these earrings add a touch of Parisian storybook glamour to any outfit. They’re not just a statement, they’re a conversation, a memory, a piece of fashion history continuing its journey with you.
These earrings aren’t just accessories. They’re storytellers, carrying whispers of Parisian nights and 1970s glamour. And now, their next chapter is yours to write. This is not just a piece of jewellery, it’s a wearable chapter of fashion history, reimagined for a new era. If you feel drawn to their story, trust that they’re meant to continue it with you.

Although I do put every button through rigorous testing to do my best to ensure their longevity. *Disclaimer… I’m not able to guarantee the longevity of any buttons that have crystals or pearls used.
