How glamorous is the 1960’s Chanel button?  It was once worn on a black wool boucle coat with contrasting white fur collar.  This was obviously before Chanel moved to faux fur.

Coco Chanel loved pearls and she especially loved the luxury of fur teamed with pearls, hence this gorgeous button addition to the mid length coat.

The gold tone is so deep and rich, which makes the little seed pearls really stand out.  The centre is black enamel with gold toned double C’s.   The pendant is hand crafted in solid, super shiny Sterling Silver.  I’ve left the back of the pendant open to show the Chanel makers’ marque, which only adds to the value of these vintage buttons.  The bail is larger so that it can accommodate most of your silver or gold chains & even a smaller string of pearls.

Unlike costume jewellery, my jewellery is professionally hand crafted using traditional Goldsmith techniques and genuine, solid precious metals, so therefore you can wear *some of your Porsha Bella pieces whilst swimming, showering and washing.  These activities shouldn’t damage or discolour the precious metals.  I never take my jewellery off.  However, you may need to polish your jewellery a little more frequently if you want that shiny, brand new look.  If you treat your Porsha Bella creation, like the treasure of history it is, you should have an heirloom piece that will stand the test of time.  If you have any concerns about how to care for this piece, then please reach out to me and I can help you with tips on getting a long and happy wear life out of it.
