Calling all vintage Dior lovers!! You really can’t afford to hesitate with these little stunners. Vintage Dior just screams glamour. It tells everyone that you’re a woman with style and that you know classic, staple, on point fashion.
Imagine wearing these to a wedding, formal dinner function or even a high tea (do people still do high tea’s?). Anyway, you understand where I’m coming from.
Aren’t these just the cutest Dior buttons you’ve ever seen? They’re so tiny, which makes them so comfortable, lightweight and easy to wear all day and well into the night.
These buttons are from the mid 1980’s and were originally the buttons on a Dior blouse. Of course, being the 1980’s this blouse had the rather large shoulder pads and an oversized collar. Ok, even Dior can be forgiven for such things, but they did redeem themselves with this gorgeous buttons. The white enamel background, with the bold gold Dior lettering, just works so well with the sterling silver setting.
I personally love wearing 1/2 hoop earrings, so for something different, I designed these petite buttons with a really nice sized 1/2 hoop with a stud and butterfly back closure. You can benefit from a little dangle, but you have the comfort of a stud back. There’s something really sophisticated about a 1/2 hoop, don’t you agree?
