Can you relate to the deeper meaning of the anchor symbol?
The symbol of security, stability and being grounded?
The anchor is a symbol demonstrating you are in tune with yourself and you hold onto the values you believe in.
The anchor can also represent a special person that had been your rock through difficult times. If you’ve had a tumultuous past, the anchor is a pledge to move on and have a better, brighter and grounded future.
This button is a true treasure. It was commissioned by the French Infanterie de Marine from the famous French button makers TW & W BREVETÉ PARIS and dates back to 1865-1884. This means the button is well over 100 years old. Just imagine the life this button has seen. I hope it proved to be a symbol of security for whoever wore it on their naval coat.
This gorgeous French antique button has been bezel set in solid Sterling silver and measures 25mm diametre.
The button is made in brass, so there is a wonderful silver/gold two tone effect.
The bracelet has been hand crafted in solid Sterling silver. Each link is oval (30mm L x 20mm W x 2mm T) with a lovely hand hammered finish. It is a very heavy, solid, striking link bracelet with a lovely click in catch that is so easy to put on and take off.
The bracelet is 205mm long or 8″ long and is a one of a kind.
I can say with certainty that you will not find another piece like this anywhere in the world. This really is a one of a kind. I’d love to hear from you if you have any further questions.
