This is truly unique and oh so special. It’s not often that I come across Chanel buttons that can be put into the antique category, but this is one of them. It’s from the early 1920’s, post WW1 when haute couture fashion houses were desperately trying to recover from the devastation of a post war Europe.
The house of Chanel led the way in bringing colour back into the Parisian catwalks by launching a range of blouses in bright, happy colours. The fabrics were sheer and daring, with even the buttons being a lollypop of colours.
The simplicity of the button design with the iconic double C’s and those famous words, Chanel Paris. Would more could you ask for?
I must admit, I do love the crispness of white, so this button just screamed out to me. I have hand crafted a very understated full bezel setting in solid sterling silver, with an attachable full swivel clasp. I added a stunning London Blue crystal to this charm to give you a pop of colour and difference.
The bracelet is ever so elegant and classic white fresh water pearls and little diamontè beads to add that touch of glamour.
