These petite Chanel buttons date back to the early 1930’s. These are actually the smallest Chanel buttons I’ve ever seen and were perfect to be transformed into this stylish earring collection.
These buttons were originally worn on a Chanel button blouse. From the notes I have, these blouses were a cotton/linen blend in red, white and black fabric. The buttons were produced to match the fabric colours. The blouses had short sleeves, stopping just above the elbow. These buttons even featured on the cuff of the short sleeve. Can you picture the image in your mind?
I designed the “Pascale” earring collection after seeing these cute little buttons. I designed these black buttons as a pair of simple, yet sublime hook earrings. The drop of the hook is quite short, so they’re incredibly comfortable to wear all day long & even well into the evening. They are the total focus in your ears, no bells or whistles, just a stunning black with those iconic double C’s in gold gilding, filling the entire button face.
Completely hand crafted in solid sterling silver, these are a very impactful pair of hook earrings. Perfect for evening wear, or to add style to your casual wardrobe.
