Calling all Louis Vuitton fans!
Forget following the crowd with an LV handbags, this my friend, will set you well apart!
You can now have a part of an LV handbags, but it’s super stylish, super unique and a great way to up cycle a beautiful vintage piece. This zipper pull was on the inside pocket of an LV handbag, circa 1980’s. So it’s a classic piece of vintage history.
The pull is more of an antique gold tone, rather than a brilliant yellow gold tone. It’s not a big charm, so the dangle doesn’t get in the way of every day wear. It’s also hollow, so it’s not too heavy either. The setting is simple, so as to not detract from those gorgeous LV letters, that are all so recognisable and represent expense, exclusivity, luxury and class. Because I thought the back of the zipper pull was also worth being displayed, I’ve made the setting open, so that LV logo is even viewed from the back.
The bracelet is completely hand crafted by me, in my French workshop. I’ve used 100% solid, recycled sterling silver (925). You won’t find any hollow or plated links here! Every single link is individually soldered closed, which only adds to the expense and quality of this piece.
Bracelets like this, that have each link formed by hand, by a trained Goldsmith, are just such beautiful examples of their ancient trade. There’s wonderful, slight variations in every link. You’ll feel the quality the moment you open the box. When it comes to hand crafted link chains and bracelets, no two are the same. So why not add to that individuality with a little piece of the past from a genuine Louis Vuitton handbag.
This bracelet measures 20cm or 8″ in length. I am able to make it a little longer or a little shorter at no additional charge.
Your jewellery journey begins, with a piece of Porsha Bella wearable history.
***Please note, the buttons used in all of my creations are second hand, antique or vintage, therefore they will show signs of their previous lives. Some scratches, tiny dents, some enamel wear and even tarnishing. I cannot guarantee the quality or longevity of these buttons. In some cases there can be colour variations, and plating lift during the polishing process, this is unavoidable. I’m unable to refund or replace buttons that break or crack. Although I do put every button through rigorous testing to do my best to ensure their longevity.
Unlike costume jewellery, my jewellery is professionally hand crafted using traditional Goldsmith techniques and genuine, solid precious metals, so therefore you can wear your Porsha Bella pieces whilst swimming, showering and washing. These activities shouldn’t damage or discolour the precious metals. I never take my jewellery off. However, you may need to polish your jewellery a little more frequently if you want that shiny, brand new look. If you treat your Porsha Bella creation, like the treasure of history it is, you should have an heirloom piece that will stand the test of time. If you have any concerns about how to care for this piece, then please reach out to me and I can help you with tips on getting a long and happy wear life out of it.
