These earrings are a lovely transformation of original vintage Chanel buttons from the 1980s. Once used on Chanel’s long cotton shirt dresses, the buttons are small, detailed, and featured the iconic interlocking double C logo.

Their petite size makes them perfect for conversion into lightweight, easy-to-wear earrings. Each pair has been handcrafted in France, with care taken to preserve the quality and elegance of the original buttons. I’ve been fortunate enough to find three different colours that these buttons were available in, but I understand they were produced in several more colours. The buttons are metal buttons with a striking white enamel and a soft yellow gold tone, which I have decided to enhance by adding 9ct yellow gold shepherds hooks. Of course the settings are hand crafted in solid sterling silver.

These earrings combine vintage charm with contemporary craftsmanship. Each pair is unique, offering a subtle yet distinctive way to wear a piece of Chanel fashion history.

Unlike costume jewellery, my jewellery is professionally hand crafted using traditional Goldsmith techniques and genuine, solid precious metals, so therefore you can wear *some of your Porsha Bella pieces whilst swimming, showering and washing. These activities shouldn’t damage or discolour the precious metals. I never take my jewellery off. However, you may need to polish your jewellery a little more frequently if you want that shiny, brand new look.
