“Annabelle” Noir Prada Tag Necklace

Provenance

This creation is a first for me. When my Parisian antique and vintage button collector asked if I was interested in Prada handbag tags, I initially thought I would not know what to do with them. After some consideration, I decided to include a few in my next button shipment and come up with a design.

These Prada tags were originally worn on Prada handbags from the 1980s, making them officially vintage. They have some very slight scratches, and the noir one shows a little more wear on the silver parts. This has created an intriguing combination of rose gold, silver and black tones that adds character to each piece.

The Annabelle Collection

These three tags make up the Annabelle collection, available in Bleu, Noir and Rose. At this stage, these are the only pieces in the collection. Once they have found new custodians, there will be no more.

The Prada logo is a symbol of growth, authority and history. It represents sophistication, a touch of royalty and an unconventional spirit, reflecting the brand’s Italian heritage and aristocratic roots.

The Necklace

Each tag has been hand set in solid Sterling Silver and comes with a solid Sterling Silver curb link chain. The chain is 50 centimetres in length, allowing the Annabelle tag to sit slightly higher on the chest. This makes it perfect to wear alone or to layer with longer chains for a more dramatic effect.

The tags sit beautifully on the neckline, drawing attention while remaining elegant and understated. They are simple, yet statement making, combining vintage Italian design with modern styling.

Please note, all buttons used in my creations are antique, vintage, or second hand, and will naturally show signs of their previous lives.  Such as gentle surface marks, tiny dents, enamel wear, or soft tarnishing.
Each button is carefully tested and securely set, but as these treasures can be well over a century old, they remain delicate and should be treated with the same care as any fine antique.

While the jewellery itself is professionally handcrafted from solid precious metals using traditional goldsmith techniques, designed to last a lifetime, the historic buttons, pearls, and crystals within these designs are inherently more fragile. Their age and patina are what make them so special.
To preserve your piece, please avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, perfume, or impact. Treat it gently, and it will bring you many years of beauty and admiration.

As each piece is entirely handmade and one of a kind, I’m unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or replacements for changes of mind, or for age related wear such as button cracking, crystal or pearl loss, or plating lift that may occur over time.
