“Jade” Gold Chanel Button Ring

This button came from the Coco Chanel winter 1945-46 collection and was used on the Chanel bold coloured woollen coats released after the end of WW2.  The Chanel fashion house wanted to bring back life and colour to a devastated Paris and so colours were a huge part of that year’s collection.

Large gold and silver toned buttons also featured heavily on coats, jackets and ladies trousers.

The button has a lovely rough background texture, but the iconic Chanel logo is a smooth, shiny focal point centred on the buttons face.

I have hand set the button in a solid, heavy Sterling Silver setting.  I’ve made the setting a little lower on the finger line for added comfort.

I’ve also added a bezel set lab created diamond in an offset position to add a little sparkle to this bold ring.  The ring shank is not too wide and is really easy to wear.

This ring is meant to be seen.  It’s a statement, vintage designer piece and is a complete one of a kind.  It has been designed and totally hand crafted by me, using traditional Goldsmith techniques.  You will be able to pass this piece down to generations to come.

Please note, all buttons used in my creations are antique, vintage, or second hand, and will naturally show signs of their previous lives.  Such as gentle surface marks, tiny dents, enamel wear, or soft tarnishing.
Each button is carefully tested and securely set, but as these treasures can be well over a century old, they remain delicate and should be treated with the same care as any fine antique.

While the jewellery itself is professionally handcrafted from solid precious metals using traditional goldsmith techniques, designed to last a lifetime, the historic buttons, pearls, and crystals within these designs are inherently more fragile. Their age and patina are what make them so special.
To preserve your piece, please avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, perfume, or impact. Treat it gently, and it will bring you many years of beauty and admiration.

As each piece is entirely handmade and one of a kind, I’m unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or replacements for changes of mind, or for age related wear such as button cracking, crystal or pearl loss, or plating lift that may occur over time.
