This is such a classic Vintage Chanel Button from the 1960’s. The design is subtle, but oh so iconic. With clean white enamel and crisp gold lettering that really contrasts against the sterling silver setting. This is another button from the lovely lady in Paris who inherited her Mother’s collection. Her Mother worked for some of the world’s best known fashion houses for over 40 years as a seamstress firstly, but she ended her career as the head of the seamstress department of Chanel Paris. She collected many fabric, buttons and end of line clothing during this time.
Normally I would turn the buttons into charms to hang from the bracelet, but this time I have incorporated the button into the links of the bracelet. The button sits perfectly as the centrepiece to this lovely bracelet, with the added touch of the sky blue Swarovski crystal, which is also set in sterling silver. I can remove this if you would prefer the bracelet to be a little less sparkly.
Completely hand crafted in solid, chunky sterling silver (925) with all links soldered closed to add to the strength and integrity of the piece. You certainly won’t be disappointed with this really classic jewellery addition.
I have made the length adjustable from 23-25cm / 9-9 3/4″ with the addition of 3 round links at the end of the bracelet. The clasp is a lobster style also in solid sterling silver. These clasps are really easy to open one handed, which lets face it, is a major factor in bracelets. I get so frustrated trying to do up bracelets by myself, that I now test drive every one of my designs to make sure I can take them on and off by myself without turning myself inside out! I can also size the bracelet length down a little if you need.
