This beautiful bracelet began with an original vintage Dior button dating from the mid 1980s. It was once part of a Dior blouse, complete with the rather spectacular shoulder pads and oversized collar that were so wonderfully 1980s.

Thankfully, Dior redeemed itself beautifully with these gorgeous buttons.

The button is made from metal with a soft white enamel finish and elegant gold Dior lettering. Set into a solid sterling silver bezel, it has the unmistakable presence of a great fashion house, while its vintage history gives it something that a newly made piece simply cannot have.

From a Dior Blouse to Your Wrist

I have paired this original Dior button with freshwater cultured pearls to create a bracelet that feels feminine, elegant and wonderfully timeless.

There is something rather special about wearing an authentic piece of Dior history in such a personal way. This button once belonged to a garment. Now it has a completely new life, sitting on your wrist and becoming part of your own story.

The larger Dior button charm is attached to the bracelet with a tiny sterling silver carabiner, so it can be removed and worn in other ways. Add it to a fine silver necklace, another bracelet or something already sitting in your jewellery box that you love.

The charm has a relatively short drop, so it sits beautifully against the bracelet without becoming an annoyance during everyday wear.

Unlike costume jewellery, my jewellery is professionally hand crafted using traditional Goldsmith techniques and genuine, solid precious metals, so therefore you can wear *some of your Porsha Bella pieces whilst swimming, showering and washing.  These activities shouldn’t damage or discolour the precious metals.  I never take my jewellery off.  However, you may need to polish your jewellery a little more frequently if you want that shiny, brand new look.  If you treat your Porsha Bella creation, like the treasure of history it is, you should have an heirloom piece that will stand the test of time.  If you have any concerns about how to care for this piece, then please reach out to me and I can help you with tips on getting a long and happy wear life out of it.
