Welcome to the Sabine collection!
I’m really excited to be including sparkly Chanel buttons into the Porsha Bella Jewellery line. I have had the availability of these buttons for a couple of years, from my Parisian lady’s Mothers button collection and I now finally have some. I’ve always admired this style of vintage button. I’ve never bought them due to the extra work involved in testing the durability of these stunners. I have put every button into a rather rigorous and unfair test. They have been tumbled and ultrasonically vibrated several times in order for me to be as sure as I can be, of their durability.
So, here are the first of the sparkly buttons & what a beauty this one is!
This button is from the 1980’s and was first worn on a Chanel bomber jacket, I guess to add a bit a dazzle to a rather masculine looking jacket. Only Chanel could pull this look off. The button is a gold toned, metal button with a delicious creamy coloured centre, with those double C’s in a gold lettering and those stunningly, sparkling diamante crystals around the outer edge. I can’t believe how much they shine for their age!
Team this piece with classic pearls, gold or silver chains you already have in your jewellery collection. The bail is wide enough to accommodate most chains. Go on, make a dazzling statement every time you wear this.
Of course this piece has been completely hand crafted using solid sterling silver, and traditional Goldsmith techniques.
* I can’t give you a full guarantee of the durability of this style of button, I will, however offer a 100% guarantee my workmanship, as I do with all Porsha Bella creations.
*You are purchasing the pendant only. Any beads, pearls or chains shown, are purely for advertising purposes and are not for sale.
*Please note, the buttons used in all of my creations are second hand, antique or vintage, therefore they will show signs of their previous lives. Some scratches, tiny dents, some enamel wear and even tarnishing. I cannot guarantee the quality or longevity of these buttons. In some cases there can be colour variations, and plating lift during the polishing process, this is unavoidable. I’m unable to refund or replace buttons that break or crack. Although I do put every button through rigorous testing to do my best to ensure their longevity. *Disclaimer… I’m not able to guarantee the longevity of any buttons that have crystals or pearls used.
Unlike costume jewellery, my jewellery is professionally hand crafted using traditional Goldsmith techniques and genuine, solid precious metals, so therefore you can wear *some of your Porsha Bella pieces whilst swimming, showering and washing. These activities shouldn’t damage or discolour the precious metals. I never take my jewellery off. However, you may need to polish your jewellery a little more frequently if you want that shiny, brand new look. If you treat your Porsha Bella creation, like the treasure of history it is, you should have an heirloom piece that will stand the test of time. If you have any concerns about how to care for this piece, then please reach out to me and I can help you with tips on getting a long and happy wear life out of it.
*Designer buttons have no affiliation with the brand or fashion house of their origin. I do my best to ensure all designer buttons are genuine and from a reputable source. Porsha Bella designer button creations are not sold on behalf of or in conjunction with the brand. The designer buttons are second hand, vintage or antique, with all rights removed and protected by the second hand market.
