If you’re looking for an amazing, stand out pendant, then you really can’t go past this.
This button dates back to the early 1900’s Victorian Era. It has a real medieval look to it with the inscription around the edge of the button. It features a mother of pearl inlay in the centre of the button, which catches the light and throws some lovely soft colours.
The button is said to be from the waist band of dress and as was the fashion during this period, buttons were more designed like jewels than buttons, which is kind of ironic that now it has been transformed into an actual jewel, some 122 years later.
I designed this setting to be as plain as possible, because the button itself speaks such volumes, I didn’t want anything to detract from this incredible work of art.
Completely hand crafted in solid sterling silver, this is a large, heavy piece of jewellery. I have made the bail large enough to wear with a string of pearls or your favourite chains, or if you prefer, I can custom create a necklace to go with this pendant.
Your Jewellery journey begins…. with a piece of Porsha Bella wearable history.
