“Lilou” Prada Button Charm Bracelet

Are you searching for a designer button that is truly one of a kind? This Prada button is unlike any other I have worked with. It is the only Prada button I have ever used, and it comes from a mens suit worn in the 1960s, giving it a fascinating history and unmatched character.

The Button

Originally crafted for a man, this vintage Prada button carries an understated elegance and a quiet confidence. Its clean, polished surface makes it perfect as a dangling charm, and the subtle detailing showcases the brand’s Italian sophistication.

The Bracelet

I wanted the bracelet design to mirror the balance of masculinity and femininity in the button itself. The teardrop shaped links provide soft, feminine curves, while the flat connecting bars add strength and a modern edge. The highly polished rub over setting is deliberately minimalist, allowing the button to take centre stage.

The fob closure is a nod to the button’s masculine heritage, and the charm dangles beautifully from it. Every link has been hand crafted in solid Sterling Silver and hard silver soldered closed for strength and longevity. No glues or craft shop blanks were used, no,  this bracelet is entirely hand made using traditional Goldsmith techniques.

Each button is carefully tested and securely set, but as these treasures can be well over a century old, they remain delicate and should be treated with the same care as any fine antique.

While the jewellery itself is professionally handcrafted from solid precious metals using traditional goldsmith techniques, designed to last a lifetime, the historic buttons, pearls, and crystals within these designs are inherently more fragile. Their age and patina are what make them so special.
To preserve your piece, please avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, perfume, or impact. Treat it gently, and it will bring you many years of beauty and admiration.

As each piece is entirely handmade and one of a kind, I’m unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or replacements for changes of mind, or for age related wear such as button cracking, crystal or pearl loss, or plating lift that may occur over time.
