Can you believe these are genuine vintage Chanel brooches from the 1980’s! How fun are they, now that they’ve been transformed.
As I’ve mentioned before, I have two reliable sources for my vintage designer buttons, tags and zipper pulls. These arrived from the Parisian gentleman who has an incredibly extensive collection of all things designer. Some items are not for sale, but he often sends me emails with different things he thinks I might be interested in.
He showed me these and said they are from the 1980’s and were originally Chanel brooches, but somewhere along the line, the brooch pins had been broken. He had 3 available. Let me tell you, it didn’t take me too long to grab them, as I knew exactly what I could create with these stunners.
These two pink diamanté crystal brooches, were ideal as a pair of earrings, so here they are!
Completely hand crafted in solid sterling silver, although they are predominantly gold toned with those pretty pink crystals. I’ve left the back of the earring open, so as to show off the Chanel double C logo from both sides. I’ve added these really lovely, secure ear hooks that have a lever closure.
If you’ve ever wanted to own a genuine vintage Chanel brooch, now you can own two.
I can really see these adding the perfect touch to your LBD, jeans and a sweater or jacket. They’d even be great to wear to a garden party. These are a really decent sized earring. Perfect to show off your love of Chanel. How cool to be able to tell anyone that admires your earrings, that these were in fact, vintage Chanel brooches.
